I've retained the services of a Nigerian barrister

(My US barrister simply wasn't cutting the mustard.  Bit of a pettifogger if you ask me.  More on this situation as it festers.)

Meanwhile, we just completed our first stakeout in Duane's newly renovated van.  It was... relatively uneventful.  The Skeeter and I took turns playing Internet poker and manning the binoculars behind Duane's retro beaded curtains.  And he actually didn't fuss all that much.  After four and a half hours of inactivity surrounding Beth's house, she ventured over to the 7-Eleven, purchased what looked to be ciggies and another box of wine, then returned to her neighborhood.  We discontinued our tail at that point, opting to not follow her to her door.  Didn't want to blow our cover.  Again.
